Arukor Communications is located in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, which is convenient to Boston, Worcester, Providence, and Hartford. Although many of our clients are located in New England, we have worked with others throughout the United States. We love to meet and work with our clients face-to-face, but thanks to today's technology, we also have very satisfied clients whom we've never met in person. What Does the Name Arukor Mean?
We're often asked about the genesis of our name. We needed a name that was unique to trademark. We wanted it to begin with an A (not to match our type A personalities, but to be higher on the list when names are alphabetized). We also wanted it to sound strong (Are-You-Core), and the .com extension had to be available. To find the name, we wrote a Monte Carlo algorithm. We specified that the word needed to begin with A, and we fed the algorithm vowel combinations to use. It responded with a long list of potential names, which we sorted through to select Arukor. Even though it was not one of the original criteria, we really like the word's appearance.
