Judy Vedder

Judy’s in-depth technology skills, analytic approach to web production, and overall problem-solving skills are at the core of Arukor Communications’ technical capabilities.

Judy began her professional career in the information technology field in 1986 as a programmer working on the Patriot Missile for Raytheon Corporation in Billerica, Massachusetts. She then performed technical consulting, project proposal preparation, and project management for Polaroid, General Electric Aircraft Engines Division, and GE’s Electric Insurance Company while on staff at General Electric Consulting Services in Waltham, Massachusetts.

In 1988, Judy was honored as an outstanding consultant for the Boston District of General Electric Consulting Services.

In 1990, Judy began her fourteen-year career at the College of the Holy Cross located in Worcester, Masachusetts. Judy was responsible for managing large project teams that defined business and system requirements, selected solutions, and implemented these solutions. She developed project management methodology; developed and managed project budgets; and supervised vendors, technical staff, and functional consultants. Judy was responsible for the implementation of Holy Cross’s first multimillion dollar, college-wide network in 1997, as well as implementation of twenty business applications. As a director at Holy Cross, Judy was a key member of the Information Technology Services Management team responsible for strategic planning, the development of a centralized project office, and the Business Affairs Division project portfolio. Judy collaborated with division directors and the division vice-president to develop five-year planning and prioritization of technology projects.

Judy holds an M.B.A. from Bentley College (Waltham, MA) and a B.S. in Management with a concentration in Management Information Systems from the University of Vermont (Burlington, VT).
