Web sites are an important marketing vehicle and you need to update them often. Web site updates can be made quickly and easily with a Content Management Solution (CMS).
What You Should Look For in a CMS
- The CMS should let you edit content right on the page, without having to know HTML. The experience should be similar to using a Word Processor.
- Text formatting, images and links should all be within your control without the need for programming.
- The CMS should dynamically create each Web page by assembling each piece of content for the page. This means that the content on one page can be reused and redisplayed on as many Web pages as you wish. By separating the content from the presentation you have flexibility and scalability.
- The CMS should provide security management to grant rights to users, groups and roles. Permission levels should allow view only, edit ability, or access only with a username or password.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Meta tags should be within your control so that you can integrate your Web site with your on-line marketing strategy.
For your entertainment we have added our armature video showing the DotNetNuke CMS – be sure to watch the whole video we have added some lame humor (we had fun).
We invite your comments and/or questions.
