The Estate and Business Planning Council (EBPC) of Worcester County is an organization of professional estate and business planners. Its website was nearly ten years old and in need of a modern design. In addition, the organization needed a new logo.
Interactive Functionality
The council wanted its new website to provide interactive functionality for members. They wanted potential members to be able to register, complete a membership application, and make a membership payment online, replacing the current paper-based registration process.
Member Directory
The council wanted a membership directory that would showcase members and allow them to update their own listing, but would also provide a way for administrators to manage the directory and remove individuals who did not renew their membership. Event Calendar & Online Registration
The council wanted a calendar, online registration, and online payment for their events. The event-management tools Arukor provided allow the council to notify members of an upcoming event, keep track of registration and meal choices for each event, and issue reminders to those who have registered.
Member-Only Discussion Forum
The council wanted a forum that was restricted to members where they could post questions and share answers. The discussion forum Arukor Communications provided allows members to communicate with one another and serves as a knowledge resource where new members can seek information. Members receive all posts via email and can even respond by email!

The EBPC website is larger and more functional than it seems at first glance. Arukor utilized DotNetNuke's robust security system to allow only the tip of the iceberg to be seen by the public. More functionality is revealed to applicants who register with the website, and additional features are available to approved members.
